Do we still need an on-site server?

Maybe not. Many businesses have moved entirely to the cloud. But some applications still need local servers, and some businesses prefer keeping data on-site. We’ll help you work out what makes sense. Often it’s a hybrid approach.

How much does a new network cost?

It varies hugely depending on size and complexity. A simple small office might be a few hundred pounds. A multi-floor setup with structured cabling and enterprise WiFi could be several thousand. We’ll survey your site and give you a clear quote.

Can you work with our existing equipment?

Usually, yes. We’ll assess what you have and tell you honestly what’s worth keeping and what needs replacing. No point throwing out kit that’s doing its job. But we’ll also tell you if something’s a liability.

How long does infrastructure work take?

Small projects can be same-day or next-day. Larger installations might take a few days to a week. We plan around your business to minimise disruption, often working evenings or weekends for cutovers.

What brands do you recommend?

We’re not tied to any vendor. For networking, we often use Ubiquiti for small businesses, Cisco Meraki for larger ones. For servers, HPE and Dell. But we’ll recommend what fits your needs and budget, not what gives us the best margin.

Do you support what you install?

Absolutely. We can provide ongoing support and maintenance for everything we install. It makes sense for us to support our own work, and it means there’s no finger-pointing if something goes wrong.
